I came across this delightful little design in a group on Facebook. I asked the girl who posted the pic where she got the pattern from but she couldn’t remember. I ended up doing a Google search and was surprised to come across it straight away!
The kit comes in two options: 14-HPI Aida or 28-HPI Evenweave – I went for the latter. I swapped the black thread for DMC colour variations shade no #4025 This is a relatively easy design to do and total stitching time was probably about a week. I like the colour change too (although someone who commened clearly thought my choice of colour was bland!!!! I dunno there's no pleasing some people).
Anyway, just cause it's Blackwork, doesn't mean you have to use black threads. DMC's colour variations are just perfect for this sort of work - expect to see more soon
