Two of my favourite hobbies collide!

I've been doing cross-stitch since 2002, and up until recently I've just stitched kits and charts from magazines. I’ve always been artistic and charting my own designs is something I’ve wanted to have a go at for a while now.

I’ve been playing video games since the 1980’s, but, as most of my DA friends and watchers will know, I’m an avid FFVII fan...so, what better way to kick start my designing by charting my favourite character in cross-stitch!

The design was charted using “Jane Greenhoff’s Pattern Creator 2”
It was stitched on 14-HPI antique-white Aida using Anchor stranded cotton and DMC Colour Variations.

Cloud was stitched initially as a stand alone project, but I had so much fun with this that I'm planning to do other characters from the game. Most are still work in progress, but you can view the finished ones by clicking on the link below:
