Crafty Cat by gatchacaz Crafty Cat by gatchacaz
This is what happens when you let your cat near your work basket!

Designed by the talented Margaret Sherry for "Cross-stitcher" magazine. It was stitched on white 14-hpi Aida using DMC threads

This is adorable! And so accurate. It was in the magazine? Which issue? I might have to hunt down a copy.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it.

The pattern was in CrossStitcher June 2003 if that helps!

I had a cat named Georgia who NEVER played with my cross stitch, yarn or project stuff, she was the perfect cat......her SISTER was what you have stitched here........THIS IS AWESOME

well you're very lucky to have such a well trained kitty. My cat Hardy is a bit of a swine for playing with threads

Glad you like it =)

Alas, Georgia died several years ago so she is no more :( I've been thinking lately that I'd like to find another, but have to live in a place that will allow pets :D

Aww, that's sad to hear.

I know what you mean though - I live in a flat and I can't have my cat with me so she lives with my mum where she has a nice big garden to play in!

Ahhhh, but wouldn't it be nice to have your friend at home with you? Getting into things, shedding hair on everything and clawing things up? :giggle: I really do miss that :D

Yes, I'd love to have her living here with me, but I don't think my leather sofa would agree...
