Hey there guys, how goes it?

Well the good news is that yesterday I finally got my new charting software

I’m very excited about this because now it means I can do decent looking charts a la “Little Mojo”!

I’m still getting used to all the features but already I am noticing that it is so much better than my old software now starts the ardous task of transferring ALL my patterns into the new software - I fear this could take some time, but I am hoping to have it done by the end of the year!

All I need to do then is find a decent “free” website to host my patterns and I’m good to go!!!


CLUBS I’M IN

Hey there guys!

Well it’s been a few weeks since my last post. Thankfully, I am now over my chest infection (it took me a month) but due to my extended illness, my revision suffered and in the end I had to pull out. It was an absolute arse trying to get my doctor to give me a note but I did in the end and all I can do now is keep fingers crossed that I get my fee back.

So now the only thing stressing me out is work, but at least I can switch off when I get home so that means that I can spend my spare time now (until the New Year at least) stitching and designing.

Can you believe that I picked up my stitching bag for the first time since the middle of August? That’s a long time without any stitching!!! It’s been rather therapeutic this week – I’ve even been taking it to work with me but the light around my desk is not very good for stitching

I’m trying to finish some blackwork kits that I started back in the spring. One will defo be finished by the weekend but I have a Halloween design I am working on as well which I would like to post by the weekend so lots of sewing to do *sigh* sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day!!!

Good news too that I should be getting my new charting software after my next payday (17th November) and all being well it will allow me to get my charts converted into .PDF files – I still plan to have a website to host them and I have been working on layouts and looking at possible sites to host it so keep your fingers crossed that it all works out!!!

Hey there guys

I must apologise for not being online much over the last few weeks. Work has been hectic since I came back from Gibraltar (I came back to a huge mountain of post) and just to make things worse, I came down with a cold last week! It didn’t get better as the week went on so after spending all weekend hacking and chucking up my guts, I went to see my doctor on Monday and it turns out I have a chest infection!!! I was given antibiotics and an inhaler (yucky) and have been off work all week, sleeping between meds and trying to get better.

I’m starting to feel better now, and hopefully I will be back in the thick of it at work again on Monday reading more emails from disgruntled client’s complaining that I haven’t dealt with a letter they sent me six weeks ago!

Mmm, and lets not talk about the non-existent revision!!!

I tell you, life sucks sometimes

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that I’ve finally started posting my holiday diary on my blog (better late than never huh?) The first 3 days are up and each day has a separate entry. I’ve also included some of my photo highlights too (for those of you who know me on Facebook, you’ve probably already seen the 500+ photos that took me 3 days to post! )

It might take a while for me to get all 10 days posted, getting the first 3 days up has taken me bloody ages, so bear with me!

Hi guys

Well I got back from Gibraltar yesterday!

I can honestly say that I hate flying…I have never felt so ill in all my life. Coming back we hit bad turbulence mid flight and I seriously thought I was going to throw up!!!

Apart from that I had the most amazing holiday…ever!!!!

Some of the hi-lights include seeing dolphins in the wild, going up the Rock, having a day trip to Spain and trying to learn to waterski (for which I suffered for 3 days!)

The weather was fantastic and we had temperatures of 28 degrees pretty much every day so getting back to the UK was a bit of a shock to the system (its only 15 degrees here!)

Anyway, you will recall that I was planning to do a daily blog whilst I was away and those of you who watch my blog will know that this has not happened (full details of why are listed on my blog) but don’t worry though, I’m still going to post my diary – it might just take a while!

When it’s up and ready, I’ll let you know!

And those of you who know me on Facebook, the photos will be posted shortly, but as we took in excess of 600 pics it may take a while!

Yep, I know I’ve been harping on about my holiday for ages but it’s finally here as tomorrow I fly off to Gibraltar for 10 days of sun, sea and er….sand

It still hasn’t sunk in that I am actually going on holiday, it feels kind of surreal at the moment. My fiancé and I have only ever had one holiday together in 8 years and that was when we had 2 nights in Bournemouth 6 years ago!!!

It’s been a pretty manic weekend trying to get everything sorted, but we got there in the end and this afternoon we've chilled out by having a lovely Sunday lunch at my mum’s house and a spot of Wii Sports Resort Now the case is finally packed (and under the limit of 20kg), and we’re all set! As I write this it’s about 9.30pm and I need to get to bed because I have to be up for 3.00am - our flight from Manchester leaves at 6.55am!!!

Even though I am tired, I don’t reckon I shall get much sleep tonight as I am a little anxious about my first flight on an airplane in 30+ years!!!! I've been told that Monarch is a good airline to fly with, but I really don’t know what to expect from it all

There's plenty of things for us to do when we get there so I probably won’t be around now for the next 10 days. My sister does have internet access so I will try and get online whenever I can. I plan to keep a diary on my blog over the next 10 days which you can view here:

Oh, one final thing…my Dissidia Limited Edition Collection came yesterday…it really is a thing of beauty but I cannot play the game yet because I need to update my firmware and as I’m not taking my PSP on holiday with me it will have to wait till I get back!!
