Of course, you will recall that I have always said that I will not do commissions, and I must stress that this is still the case. However, I will now consider pattern requests which are easier to honour).
You may ask what has caused this change of heart? Well, recently I had an email from
It would have been rude of me to say no, and the logo itself is fairly simplistic so it didnt take long to chart. The pattern went down very well and can now be downloaded from my website here: [link]
I enjoyed charting it, and of course, its nice that people appreciate my work enough to ask such a favour.
If you want a request, feel free to email me and if you have a reference image in mind please email me that me too. I would ask that you try to keep the image simple and not too complicated (otherwise you maybe waiting a while for a reply), and you must be happy for me to put the finished pattern on my website.
If I get a lot of requests I may start a subpage on the website.
Im also looking for suggestions for new pattern ideas as Im trying to feature more obscure gaming series on my website (I like to be different). If there is a particular game franchise I have not featured, but you would like me to feature, please let me know,
BUT
...please, please, please...NO POKEMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you want Pokemon patterns, go here: [link] (she does requests too!)
Thanks for listening guys,
Later!

Considering what a nice job you did on the Horde logo I'd imagine you'd make some really nice patterns for those too if they appeal to you, no worries if not though, I can have a go at making them myself if they don't.
I have been thinking about having a separate section for pattern requests and other people's designs ...but obviously that ewould depend on whether anyone would want to!!!
Anyway, the offer is there I'll leave that up to you.
BTW, what charting software are you using?
I'm using PC Stitch which works nicely for me, I've found it easy to use.
I like to mix up my projects. I work on small designs one night and then larger ones the next.
I am about half way through my Lighthouse but I'm not rushing now because I can't afford to get it framed at the moment
I've never used PC Stitch, I recently started using Hobbyware's Pattern Maker which is so much better than the Jane Greenoff's one I used to have.
Having mooched through your gallery, I think some of your designs would make really nice charts - I especially like the Pokemon badges you did recently!
I wasn't that happy with the Jane Greenoff software I started with either which is why I switched to PC Stitch. I've found it much easier to edit patterns with.
Thanks. ^_^ I was considering stitching those element symbols on plastic canvas as badges or charms but as I've done quite a few sprites on plastic canvas recently I thought it'd be nice to do them on aida instead.
I actually found some plastic canvas I had forgotten I'd bought up in my mum and dad's loft a few weeks ago. I brought it home, and I think I'm gonna have a go. I'd like to make some of my designs into phone charms - where do you get your phone straps from?
I'm glad you liked the Horde logo too. It wasn't that hard and I'm trying to do the Alliance logo to go with it (but it's not flowing at the moment).
Whilst I have no objection to this, on this occassion, I would be happy to let you do it as I have so many ideas waiting to be charted and I have something like 10+ patterns waiting to be converted to PDF for the website.
Things may slow down for a while now as I recently lost my job so all my energy is focusing on job hunting at the moment.
I think patterns like that, a nice shape in one solid colour, can look really nice, especially if the colour the pattern's stitched in and the colour of the aida it's stitched on compliment each other well.
Fair enough. I know the feeling, the list of stuff I want to make patterns of is rather long too and I've still got quite a few patterns I've made but not stitched yet. ^_^; It's nice to have lots of projects to look forward to working on though so.
Sorry to hear that.
